This is only the theory and pool component of the Open Water course which then qualifies you to travel to another location (usually warmer) to complete your Open Water certification dives.

Ideal for the individual who is short of time in one location or does not fancy spending an entire holiday learning to dive.

10 years of age for Junior Open Water Diver (limitations apply) and 15 years for Open Water Diver. Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water.

We provide you with Tank, Weights, BCD & Regulator Set

You need to provide your own personal mask, fins, snorkel, boots, hood and gloves. These items are also available for hire at additional cost if required.


Enriched Air (NITROX) Dry Course Only – $150
NITROX is a gas mix SCUBA divers use to maximize their bottom time on shallower dives (less than 35m/110’) It is more refreshing to breathe than compressed air and does not leave you as tired when repetitive diving. Did I mention you get longer to enjoy that wreck or photographing that pod of dolphins! You must be trained and certified to be a NITROX diver. Includes training, certification card and 1 x additional dive and NITROX gas for Open Water Dives.

PADI SCUBA Diver – $95
Essentially a halfway house between a discover scuba try dive and a fully certified Open Water Diver. It allows you to dive to 12m / 40′ when accompanied by a PADI Instructor on guided dives. includes Knowledge Reviews 1-3, Pool Dives 1-3 and Open Water Dives 1 & 2.

PADI Open Water – $130
At any time during the course, you have the option of upgrading to the full Open Water course.
